How it all began...

At a time when Jordan, Nike and Reebok were just starting to create a cultural buzz with their new designs and celebrity brands, Shawn Wiltshire, the owner and founder of Shoe MGK, created something magical to keep sneakers clean!

Shoe MGK first debuted at the Orange County Swap Meet in Orange County, California in 1992.  Shawn and a few of his closest friends sat on milk crates and sold bottles straight out of the box.  These were exciting times developing new customers and experimenting with just how well the products worked.  As the news spread about our product, Shawn began opening locations at swap meets and fairs across California.  The milk crates were left behind for vinyl boat seats and branded packaging was born!

Due to customer demand to have a location open during the week and year round, we began opening carts in malls.  This venue allowed us to develop a very loyal customer base that quickly spread across the country.  Shawn realized the malls offered a profitable opportunity for his friends and co-workers to own their own business selling Shoe MGK and our Distributor Program was born.

Since these beginning times, Shoe MGK Distributors have opened demonstration locations all over the world, from our Master Distributors in the UK, Canada and New Zealand to our smallest International Distributor in Serbia.  You can find it being sold in Atlanta to Boston and New Orleans to Ohio; on military bases in Hawaii and Alaska or at the shoe shine stand in downtown San Diego.

Our products have been improved and our line expanded, but Shawn is still the man behind the magic.  His vision has grown beyond a simple shoe cleaner as he works passionately with each of our Distributors to create a company and a brand based on integrity, product superiority and the opportunity for financial freedom.
